Tennis League Rules for our In House leagues.
The tennis league rules are as follows:
Leagues play for 10 weeks.
Highlight your name in the Pro Shop to check in.
All Leagues are put out by score order, Highest to Lowest.
Scores are reported in the Courtside Grill after play.
If you miss a week:
Mixed Leagues - You get 7 points for the first 2 misses.
Men's & Ladies Leagues - You get 9 point for the first 2 misses.
For the Men's & Ladies leagues you play 1 set with each player.
A tiebreaker is played at 5 all, instead of 6 all, so all sets will have a maximum score of 6 points, for a possible total of 18 points.
For the Mixed leagues -
You play 2 sets against your opponent and a super tie breaker to 10.
The tiebreaker is worth one point, for a possible total of 13 points
If there is an odd number of teams the players may play a 3 team round robin.
For round robin play the winning team will receive an extra point.
You are allowed to use a sub for your team as needed.
All leagues participants and subs must be Bath & Racquet Fitness Club Tennis Members.
Top 2 Tuesday night mixed teams get in automatically.
Bottom 2 Tuesday night mixed teams go to top of Wednesday night automatically.
Top 2 Wednesday night mixed teams move to the bottom Tuesday night mixed automatically.
